Afternoon Electives
The afternoon electives program runs three afternoons a week from 2-3pm. The goal of the program is to introduce students to new avenues for learning and to encourage them to seek new ways to explore their own educational interests. Students choose a different elective choice each quarter. The choices change from quarter to quarter and from year to year depending on student interest.
The afternoon electives program is very much about experimentation, taking chances, and having fun. Recent offerings have been digital animation, jewelry making, forestry, architecture, lawn games, bee-keeping, music composition, photography, sewing, theater, set design, and stained glass.
