During our students' junior year, we work with them informally and as they express interest and readiness regarding preparing for life after high school. All juniors take the PSAT in October and most now take their first SAT in May of the same year. With seniors, our work is more formal. All seniors take "Senior Seminar", which is offered either during the afternoon arts period first quarter, or one afternoon a week during sports period for a semester. The seminar offers resume writing workshops, help with the college exploration process, and assistance with the college application process, with particular attention to the college essay/personal statement. As part of the seminar, seniors are also taken to a local college fair. Seniors also may work with the guidance counselor during the afternoon. We try to pay close attention to each student's skills and readiness for the next step in her/his education beyond the high school classroom.

Last year our students were accepted to: Dean College, Lawrence University, University of St. Thomas, Wooster College, University of New England, Montgomery College, Wheelock College, Johnson State, St. John's University, Green Mountain College, as well as other schools.
