Weekends:
The weekends are filled with many fun and exciting events. The activities may include skiing, snowboarding, camping trips, festivals in the area, poetry-slams, art openings, bowling and movies. Students are required to participate in a certain number of staff-led activities. Students may sleep in on weekends. Although students have the option of having breakfast between 8:15 and 9am, they are required to be at brunch by noon. They must participate in one weekend chore, with the chance to help cook a meal. As students achieve success at Rock Point (being responsible, caring community members), they may be able to obtain the privilege to go downtown independently at designated times. At night, students need to be up on the dorm floors by 11:20 pm.
