Campaign to Secure the Future of Rock Point School

For over eighty years, Rock Point School has been helping young people become their best selves.  

•    Rock Point School students are creative, intelligent, curious, out-of-the-box thinkers who thrive under the patient, understanding, accommodating care of the teachers and residential educators. 
•    Students are taught that each of their actions has a consequence for themselves and others, and they learn how to take personal responsibility in every aspect of their lives and grow to take on leadership roles in the school and in the community.  
•    They are helped at every stage of their development by the educational, social, and emotional support systems within the school’s academic and residential curricula. 

Rock Point School is an amazing place.  Teenagers change their lives here.  Every day new challenges are overcome by students and staff alike, new adventures are embarked upon, and new memories are made.  There is nothing standard about a Rock Point School student or a Rock Point School education.   From celebrations of Darwin’s birthday in science class to history field trips on Lake Champlain to Habitat for Humanity service trips to student led school wide meetings to the one on one advising system, Rock Point School is truly one of a kind. 

The goal of our capital campaign is to secure the future of Rock Point School so that students will always have the opportunity to come here and change their own future.  The campaign consists of two phases – the first to raise $2,500,000 for scholarship and for capital improvements to the well-loved building, and the second to raise a $1,000,000 sustainability fund to ensure that the school can continue to help and support teenagers in need.
