John-a-Palooza! A Celebration of All Things Rouleau!

John addresses the crowd in his palooza outfit!

Sometime in 1971, a young bearded man with a guitar and some ideas about how to be good in the world, walked through the doors of Rock Point School.  40 years later, in June 2011, that same man (still bearded) walked out of the doors of Rock Point School leaving behind a career the effects of which will be felt by many many people for many many years to come.  Rock Point School has changed a lot since 1971 and many of those changes are due, in no small part, to our beloved retired Headmaster, John.

On Saturday June 25th we celebrated John and his legacy at Rock Point School.  People from all sections of our school community attended - students, alums, staff, trustees, friends, supporters, former employees, dogs and new babies. It was a wonderful party. There were tributes of course and quite a lot of teasing from members of the Rouleau family and a lot of laughter.

"The legacy that he leaves at Rock Point is love," said one former parent.  No truer words could have been said.

Thank you John.
